The ICPC competitors who will gather at the Bootcamp to train represent the bright minds who will shape the digital future. They are not just talented students that win competitive programming competitions. They are some of the hardest working and most brilliant minds of the ongoing digital revolution. We cannot really anticipate the full impact they will have." - Mike Mirzayanov, Founder & CEO
Ultimately, the organizers believe the event has the potential to connect the world. To attend the bootcamp in Barcelona, participants came from 25 different universities in 20 countries all over the world, stretching the geography of the competition from the US to Japan."

We kindly ask participants to come prepared to avoid wasting time configuring your computer system at the event.
The requirements are as follows:
Any browser would work with the testing system, no special clients are required for the system.
The testing will be run on computers based on Linux.
To compile programmes written in C/C++ on Linux-based laptops you will need a compiler compatible with gcc 4.9 (or higher); Geany or Code::Blocks of the latest version are recommended as IDE. Similar or newer versions of compilers are recommended for Mac users as well.
For Windows it is recommended to use Code::Blocks (if possible, choose the distribution kit with a compiler included) and Geany; using Visual Studio is recommended starting from Visual Studio 2013 (although for full compatibility it's better to have Code::Blocks and a gcc port).
To compile and debug programmes written in Java it is recommended to use the latest version of Oracle JDK. As IDE you can use Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA.
The ICPC has turned out some pretty big captains of industry, including Adam D'Angelo, the former CTO of Facebook and founder of Quora, Nikolai Durov, the former CTO of VK and Telegram, Matei Zaharia, creator of Apache Spark, Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos and a venture capitalist, Craig Silverstein, the first employee of Google. You can help us mold the world's next movers and shakers!

For our fourth iteration, Harbour.Space University in collaboration with Moscow Workshops ICPC, ITMO University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Saint Petersburg State University and Codeforces is bringing the best training practices and coaches to Barcelona to prepare 150 students for winning medals in the next ICPC World Finals.
It's extraordinary to see the entire cultural spectrum meet at the boot camp over a common love of programming and learning, and this autumn, we will be doing it again.
Our boot camp will once again feature the all-time greats Andrey Stankevich and Mike Mirzayanov, along with legends Michael Tikhomirov, Artem Vasilyev, Oleg Khristenko, and Gleb Evstropov to train the participants, all of whom will be using their training to compete for a number of prizes and internships.
The Hello Barcelona boot camp will be a whirlwind of activities. Expect the most challenging problems, surprise guests and speakers, a branded hackathon, and finally the online round held on Codeforces, so everyone can join the onsite participants, at the finale of the event.
During the nine days of the event from Sept 26 to Oct 4, 2018 teams will be participating in practice contests, problem discussion sessions and lectures.
Our mission is to make competitive programming accessible to everyone. To help us achieve this mission, we are making our boot camp available to teams of different skill levels – separated by two divisions of difficulty.

Designed to help teams prepare for the next season of ICPC regionals an international competitions.
Appropriate as an introduction for teams and students just getting their foot in the door of the world of ICPC and competitive programming competitions in general.
The Media-TIC building is wildly new and inventive incubator, designed to foster creativity and play host to some of the most exciting organisations in the tech business world, such as Barcelona Activa, Mobile World Congress, 4 Years From Now (4YFN), Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3), eLearn Center and Barcelona Digital Technology Center. Inaugurated in September 2010, this veritable “Sagrada Familia of Tech Companies” is aiming to be a citizen forum used for meeting, learning and putting into practice ICT (information and communication technologies).
Let’s get into the specs of the building - it is a cube with four unique facades which attend to specific functions according to their orientation. The mosaic drawing of the ETFE skin translates the forces exerted by the pillars and columns, which shows a study of the form down to the smallest detail. The plants are diaphanous, open and moldable (being released by an external structure called a "shell"). These are crossed, by a vertical patio that gives continuity to the building and connects it to the surroundings. And we’re excited for you to see the rest for yourself!

In competitive programming it’s very important to have real solving experience: one thing is to be able to solve problems staying in comfortable environment of one’s university but championships are completely different. The only way to get ready for the extreme conditions of ICPC is to visit our programming bootcamps." - Alexey Maleev, the founder of Moscow Workshops ICPC
