The ACM-ICPC competitors who will gather at the Bootcamp to train represent the bright minds who will shape the digital future. They are not just talented students that win competitive programming competitions. They are some of the hardest working and most brilliant minds of the ongoing digital revolution. We cannot really anticipate the full impact they will have." - Mike Mirzayanov,
Founder & CEO
Ultimately, the organizers believe the event has the potential to connect the world. To attend the bootcamp in Barcelona, participants came from 25 different universities in 20 countries all over the world, stretching the geography of the competition from the US to Japan."
The campus has well established research centres carrying out projects within different areas of computer science, funded by industry as well as government. The research environment at the campus is an added advantage for those who seek careers in teaching and research, after post-graduation. The department also hosts the prestigious programming contest ACM-ICPC known as “Olympics of Programming Contest” every year.
Attracted by its pristine beauty and the school's strong emphasis on technical excellence, students are drawn from just around the corner as well as from far across the globe. Eminent academicians and corporate professionals share their knowledge and experiences with the students, helping them apply the theoretical knowledge to real-life projects.
Take a look through our last boot camps to see what your day-to-days will look like.

We kindly ask participants to come prepared to avoid wasting time configuring your computer system at the event.
The requirements are as follows:
Any browser would work with the testing system, no special clients are required for the system.
The testing will be run on computers based on Linux.
To compile programmes written in C/C++ on Linux-based laptops you will need a compiler compatible with gcc 4.9 (or higher); Geany or Code::Blocks of the latest version are recommended as IDE. Similar or newer versions of compilers are recommended for Mac users as well.
For Windows it is recommended to use Code::Blocks (if possible, choose the distribution kit with a compiler included) and Geany; using Visual Studio is recommended starting from Visual Studio 2013 (although for full compatibility it's better to have Code::Blocks and a gcc port).
To compile and debug programmes written in Java it is recommended to use the latest version of Oracle JDK. As IDE you can use Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA.
The ACM-ICPC has turned out some pretty big captains of industry, including Adam D'Angelo, the former CTO of Facebook and founder of Quora, Nikolai Durov, the former CTO of VK and Telegram, Matei Zaharia, creator of Apache Spark, Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos and a venture capitalist, Craig Silverstein, the first employee of Google. You can help us mold the world's next movers and shakers!

Harbour.Space University in collaboration with Moscow Workshops ACM-ICPC and Amrita University are joining forces to build the first Hello India x Russia Programming Bootcamp, the next edition of our successful Hello Bootcamp series.
The Hello Programming Bootcamp will be a whirlwind of activities. Expect the most challenging problems, special guests and speakers, and finally the online round held on Codeforces, so everyone can join the onsite participants, at the finale of the event.
There are in total 1,900 ACM-ICPC teams in India, each consisting of 3 people. This year more than 300 teams qualified for the regional finals that will take place in December 2017.
Computer and Data Science both have a special place in India, one of world’s capitals for technical know-how. As they will be playing host to the world cup in 2019, Amrita University is rallying up the local teams in preparation for their regionals and 2018 World Finals as to put their teams ahead of the curve.
March is around the corner, and this will go down as another groundbreaking event. We are inviting all of you to join us from March 22 - 30, 2018 in southern India for an intense 8 days of programming! As always, we can’t wait to see all of you here to learn, practice and compete on the international stage, smoothing your road towards the April World Finals in Beijing.
Our mission is to make competitive programming accessible to everyone. To help us achieve this mission, we are making our boot camps available to teams of different skill levels – separated by three divisions of difficulty.

MIPT is one of the leading Russian universities in the areas of physics and technology. The university holds a reputable position in the country and abroad in qualified graduate training. The campus is located outside Moscow, in the peaceful small city of Dolgoprudny in order to keep Phystechs more concentrated in studying and research.
There are plenty of science laboratories at the campus for science investigation as well students organisations aimed to encourage creative minds.
The Laboratory for IT-Education Development supports the olympic ACM-ICPC movement and organizes special Moscow Workshops ACM ICPC training camps every year.
