This course covers the basics of interaction design a relatively new discipline that focuses on the interactions between people and technology. 

Anton Repponen is a former Global Creative Director at Fi (Fantasy Interactive). He was responsible for delivering creative solutions for clients such as Google, USA Today, HTC, Microsoft, Nintendo, Porsche and Sony, etc.

Riccardo grew up in a small city in Tuscany (Italy), called Pistoia. He start like a developer, then as a designer and creative director for clients like Google, Honda, Nike, Rolex, Lipton, Sprint, etc.

Summer School of Design 2017 consists of 3 courses that will teach you how to become powerful designers who can pitch ideas, create solutions to real-world problems and sell their design. For 9 weeks, you will be attending offline lectures and workshops at our school given by some of the most famous designers of today. In our digital age, the computer is capable of extraordinary feats, and we dive into the possibilities in this week-long workshop. This class is perfect for anyone who wants to create dynamic audio reactive graphics or play in the space of live concert visuals.

Since 1995, Joshua Davis, an American designer, technologist, author and artist in new media. His work has been inducted into the Smithsonian’s Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, National Design Triennial 2006 “Design Life Now”.Since 2000, he has lectured globally about his work, inspirations and motivations at museums, galleries, etc.

Back in 2008, Irene has founded the User Experience and Strategy department at Fantasy Interactive in New York, which recently she left in order to start up her own design studio. She’s led the strategy and UX initiatives for USAToday.com, Wacom, Google, FOX.com, HTC.com, Verizon, BBC, EA, Nickelodeon, RedBull, Broadway.com, History Channel, etc.

You will be learning how to design from the best designers. You will get to listen to their personal success stories and what lessons they learned from their mistakes. In these certificated courses that will run for 9 weeks, you will get to observe and understand what makes a successful designer. 

Accepted applicants will be eligible to apply for a limited number of merit-based scholarships, which cover partial cost of tuition. This discount is not offered automatically, but is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you feel that you qualify for the discount, Please explain in details.
