Obtained the BSc Physics with Astrophysics and the PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Leeds, UK, followed by a postdoctoral research position at the Institut d'Estudis Espacials de Catalunya, working on numerical models of the temporal and spectral variability of the magnetised, ultrarelativistic jets of particles in the Active Galactic Nuclei and the galactic binaries.
On a Smithsonian visitor fellowship, visited and worked on the development of now a major ground-based gamma-ray observatory, VERITAS, in Arizona, USA. Later worked in the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, on the bioinformatic projects in the Computational Genomics group, on the PanCancer project and the plant gene regions assembly.Research/Academic Interests: Analytical and numerical modelling of High Energy Astrophysics phenomena (ultra-relativistic plasma processes)

ABOUT ANA
BIBLIOGRAPHY
HARBOUR.SPACE
Uncertainty is ubiquitous in everyday life. Phenomena that lack deterministic regularity crop up everywhere and are thus the subject of study of many fields, ranging from the natural sciences, game theory, AI/machine learning to economy and finance. Probability Theory gives us the tools to make better decisions. It is fundamental to making statistical inference.
