Takuji Okubo spent 11 years as an investment bank economist, spanning his career at Goldman Sachs and later becoming Chief Economist at Societe Generale covering Japan and South Korea. In 2012, he left the industry to found Japan Macro Advisors, an economic consultancy servicing institutional clients. His firm recently extended its coverage to India, opening an office in Bangalore. Takuji also serves as CFO for USP Laboratory, Unix-based technology company. Takuji is also a Director at Japan Risk Forum, an industry association of risk managers in Japan. Takuji is a graduate from Tokyo University, INSEAD (MBA) and UPF in Barcelona.
Students will obtain a foundation in financial theory and knowledge on financial institutions and financial instruments. The course also emphasises cultivating financial instincts as well as having solid theoretical backbone.
