Takuji Okubo spent 11 years as an investment bank economist starting his career at Goldman Sachs and later becoming Chief Economist at Societe Generale covering Japan and South Korea. In 2012, he left the industry to found Japan Macro Advisors, an economic consultancy servicing institutional clients. His firm recently extended its coverage to India, opening an office in Bangalore. Takuji is a graduate from Tokyo University, INSEAD (MBA) and UPF in Barcelona. Takuji is also a Director at Japan Risk Forum, an industry association of risk managers in Japan.

The Module introduces basic concepts of finance and the numerous ways it affects our lives. Students will obtain a foundation in financial theory and knowledge on financial institutions and financial instruments.
