Eric joined Harbour.Space in 2018 as Group CFO after a distinguished career spanning 27 years in financial markets with international banks in London, New York and Paris, lastly as Managing Director at Citibank’s Markets Group in London.

His extensive experience was built by originating and executing strategic transactions to reduce financial risks and facilitate funding for large multinational corporations and government institutions involved in capital raising, cross border M&A, exposure management, and other financing needs.

At Harbour.Space, he spends most of his time managing the finances of the group, including the structuring and financing of new ventures. He also actively mentors budding student entrepreneurs as they take their first steps to launch their own startups.

On a more personal note, when not working on spreadsheets and financial models, Eric enjoys tennis, diving, snowboarding, and is an avid collector and connoisseur of fine wines.

Building on the Startup Funding for Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurship - Real Life Decision Making courses, this course aims to go deeper into how to build sound financial projections and best practices when structuring a good model to support your financing strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
COURSE OUTLINE
ABOUT ERIC

Financial Modelling can be an art form. Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets are the canvases on which to build the financial blueprint of a startup, projecting numbers to test the viability of a business. As with all good designs, it should be intuitive in its structure and elegant in the way it illustrates complexity.
This hands-on course goes into the structure of your startup Financial Model, from reviewing the input of core assumptions and key metrics influencing costs and revenues, to testing how realistic your financing strategy and projection scenarios really are. Very interactive and participative, each project will be reviewed and discussed through the scrutinising lens of the mighty spreadsheet!
