DEMO DAY BOOT CAMP
VLADISLAV
POSHMORGA

We offer innovative university degrees taught in English by industry leaders from around the world, aimed at giving our students meaningful and creatively satisfying top-level professional futures. We think the future is bright if you make it so.

Combinatorics and graph theory lay at the heart of discrete mathematics and computer science. In the course, we begin with a brief review of the fundamentals of combinatorics---counting, permutations, binomial coefficients, and the pigeonhole principle---and then devote most of the course to the fundamentals of graph theory. We cover the most common definitions and ideas of graph theory, proving important theorems and introducing important algorithms, but mostly aiming to simply establish the common language of discrete mathematics and computer science.

Vladislav has more about 20 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance gained at various international financial institutions and multinational corporations such as Morgan Stanley, Citigroup and Stolichnaya (SPI Group).

For the last 5 years, he works as a CIO of a Social Discovery Ventures supervising the investments in different asset classes starting from venture to real estate and art.

The objective of the course is to prepare the students for a proper Demo Day where student-built startups will be presented in front of investors, mentors, and the student body.

DEMO DAY
BOOT CAMP

During this highly interactive course, students will present work they have done on the Capstone Project over the past year to an experienced VC investor. We expect students to have a prototype of the startup and a decent investor presentation ready by the launch date of the course.

At the very least the project/idea should be sales-validated via customer interviews/discovery calls. In this course, students will be pushed to their limit as they prepare to raise Venture Funding.
