We kindly ask participants to come prepared to avoid wasting time configuring your computer system at the event.
The requirements are as follows:
Any browser would work with the testing system, no special clients are required for the system.
The testing will be run on computers based on Linux.
To compile programmes written in C/C++ on Linux-based laptops you will need a compiler compatible with gcc 4.9 (or higher); Geany or Code::Blocks of the latest version are recommended as IDE. Similar or newer versions of compilers are recommended for Mac users as well.
For Windows it is recommended to use Code::Blocks (if possible, choose the distribution kit with a compiler included) and Geany; using Visual Studio is recommended starting from Visual Studio 2013 (although for full compatibility it's better to have Code::Blocks and a gcc port).
To compile and debug programmes written in Java it is recommended to use the latest version of Oracle JDK. As IDE you can use Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA.
The ICPC has turned out some pretty big captains of industry, including Adam D'Angelo, the former CTO of Facebook and founder of Quora, Nikolai Durov, the former CTO of VK and Telegram, Matei Zaharia, creator of Apache Spark, Tony Hsieh, CEO of Zappos and a venture capitalist, Craig Silverstein, the first employee of Google. You can help us mold the world's next movers and shakers!

The ICPC competitors who will gather at the Bootcamp to train represent the bright minds who will shape the digital future. They are not just talented students that win competitive programming competitions. They are some of the hardest working and most brilliant minds of the ongoing digital revolution. We cannot really anticipate the full impact they will have." - Mike Mirzayanov, Founder & CEO
Ultimately, the organizers believe the event has the potential to connect the world. To attend the bootcamp in Barcelona, participants came from 25 different universities in 20 countries all over the world, stretching the geography of the competition from the US to Japan."
In competitive programming it’s very important to have real solving experience: one thing is to be able to solve problems staying in comfortable environment of one’s university but championships are completely different. The only way to get ready for the extreme conditions of ICPC is to visit our programming bootcamps." - Alexey Maleev, the founder of Moscow Workshops ICPC
