Marcus’s professional journey as a digital product designer and later on creative director started in Fantasy Interactive (Fantasy today) in 2005. After a number of years in Fantasy he joined the Swedish digital design agency Doberman where he spend about half a year before joining the digital creative agency North Kingdom helping brands to build digital products and immersive communication in digital media. Over the years Marcus has been working with a wide array of clients such as Disney, Lego, HM, Google, Hermes and Adidas to mention a few. He has been merging tech with art into emotional and engaging user experiences in all types of digital mediums ranging from apps, games, interactive videos and large scale media platforms to VR, AR and interactive installations, almost always using the power of storytelling as a red thread running through his designs.
In 2016 Marcus left North Kingdom joining the global education and travel company EF to push their digital envelope in their mission to send young people around the globe to learn languages and get immersed into new cultures. EFs mission is the empower a global generation of people who knows no borders and from a digital perspective the range of initiatives looks much like a merge between Airbnb, Duolingo and Lonely planet joining experiential travel with education and personal transformation.
