BUILDING A PRODUCT: FROM INCEPTION TO PROTOTYPE
The module will explore the core processes used to create engaging and delightful user experiences. Students will create a thesis project from inception to prototype using industry best practices.
The module will build on concepts related to identifying and understanding what people need from the products we design, and how best to effectively communicate those needs through effective organization and design principles.
Students will implement a “user experience toolkit” including concepts related to problem framing, product requirements, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototyping and user testing.
By the end of the module, students will have created a testable product from start to finish using the techniques described above.
