The Robotics Programme

CONTEXT

Modern robotics has assumed a large part of our daily lives, be it through prosthetics, industrial automatisation, or even household cleaning. The Master will put emphasis on emerging technological advancements in this exciting field.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN

Students will get both theoretical and practical knowledge in robotics, including: manipulators control, computer vision, sensors, machine learning, grasping, robotic hands. They will have an opportunity to develop robots and robotic devices for current and future industry uses.

THE ROBOTICS PROGRAMME WILL PROVIDE STUDENTS WITH

KNOWLEDGE

they require to understand the framework around computational systems, how these systems interact with the physical environment, and how these systems function in, relate to, and can be used to improve human society.

PRACTICE

they need to build on this knowledge. Students will study at the University and then apply their knowledge when they work for 4 hours a day.

NETWORK

that will change their lives. Barcelona is a thriving entrepreneurial hotspot on the coast of Spain and a gorgeous city at the heart of Europe’s international culture.

EXPERIENCE

to connect with, and eventually become, industry leaders of the future.

STEP 2

Choose the most suitable payment option and pay the application fee in the amount of 125

About

Remy Robotics

Remy Robotics is the latest project from Kinetik, a technology investment group with companies at the cutting edge of Electric Vehicles (ARRIVAL), Robofacturing (TRA Robotics) and Autonomous Vehicles (Roborace). Kinetik's companies have offices in London, LA, Berlin and Saint-Petersburg, while Remy Robotics is located in Barcelona with some software engineering functions in Moscow. For Remy Robotics, we have brought together talented specialists in the fields of robotics and machine learning from all over the world.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that the advances in robotics and machine learning will transform the food industry, just as they are changing many industries now. In the not-too-distant future, the meals we eat will be prepared - chopped, cooked, and served - with the help of  robots. This will save people - and businesses - time, lower costs, improve and standardise quality, and reduce food waste.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING

We are using robotic technology to take the routine and inefficiency out of cooking, creating a ‘chef robot’ that can help in cooking any cuisine or any dish in the world. This could be used for businesses (factories, restaurants, delivery-only), or at home, where people will be able to eat restaurant quality meals at a fraction of the cost.
